When removal is the right call

Removal is not the first answer we reach for, but sometimes it is the honest one. We recommend it when:

• The trunk has significant decay, rot or hollow sections
• The tree is split, uprooted or leaning badly over the house
• Storm damage has left limbs cracked but still hanging
• The tree is dead and shedding limbs onto a roof or parking area
• Roots or trunks are lifting driveways, foundations or utilities

If pruning can solve the problem safely, we will say so and quote that instead. If a tree is a genuine risk, we will explain what we are seeing on site.

Tree removal is priced per job, not per tree. The factors that move the number are size and height, how close the tree sits to the house, fence or driveway, how much rigging is required, access for the truck and chipper, stump grinding, and how much material has to be hauled off.
