Our story

Oak Valley Tree Service started with one truck and a simple idea: do the work safely, treat the property like it belongs to family, and be honest about what a tree actually needs. Fifteen years later, most of our calendar is filled by repeat customers and neighbors who watched us work next door.

San Antonio is a city of big trees and big storms. Live oaks, pecan, cedar elm and palm all present their own problems — limbs over the roof, deadwood in the canopy, trunks that finally give up after a dry summer. We have spent years working in these conditions, on these trees, on these streets.

We are not a franchise and we are not a lawn-care company that occasionally climbs a tree. Tree work is what we do, and it is what we have built our reputation on.

We look at the tree on site, explain the options and give you a price. No obligation, no upselling.

Safety planned before cutting

Drop zones, rigging points and access are decided before the first cut, not improvised halfway up a tree.

Straight answers

If a tree can be saved, we will say so. If it cannot, you will hear that too, with the reason behind it.

Clean, finished work

Debris is hauled off, the work area is raked and blown clean, and we walk the property with you when we are done.
